Why We’re Here

Hi. Welcome.

I guess this is the episode of any TV Show titled “The Pilot”. Meaning, it won’t be great, but hopefully it will be enough to bring you back here a few more times. Thank you for even clicking the link to even check this out - it means a lot.

“Why this?”

This (or some form of new media), has been something that has been on my mind for a while now. I am active on social, mainly twitter and Instagram and have had a ton of fun over the years interacting. But this is a chance to express some thoughts as just…a normal dude, for a couple paragraphs. And I think it can be a ton of fun.

I want to make this easy to read, relatable, and ever changing. I want critiques, I want ideas from you, and I want to keep things fresh. Not too many people think of me as someone that has the capacity to sit down and write X-amount of words to express a thought or idea. But I hope I can surprise you. I have plenty up in this noggin’ to keep you guessing, and hopefully, keep you reading.

We’ll talk sports, gaming, UW related topics, Packers, TV, Music, you name it. I will try to bring on guests for Video interviews and Guest Blogs. I want to bring out any creative ideas possible to give you a glimpse inside the days on not just me, but of my friends, teammates, and each other.

Being in Turkey now after spending last year in Russia and the previous 4 in the NBA; I have a lifetime of stories and feelings that I feel would be interesting to share. What it’s like to be traded multiple times. What living abroad is like. What being a professional athlete and loving your hometown teams is like. Old UW stories and memories. And also, what my downfalls are like (twitter cancellations, bad games, losing championships, etc.)

I want to be real to you, the reader, because you deserve it. There are so many routes we can go with this and I believe it can be a whole lot of fun. Every day or every few days I’ll come up with a new topic to discuss and give my opinion on. I’ll then open it up to you to give me your thoughts - and we’ll go from there.

So let’s get to it! I really appreciate you for taking a second to read this. Hopefully you are Interested. Let’s have some fun.
